Air-integrated computer (tank pressure transmitter)

Also: AI, transmitter

An air-integrated computer connects to your first stage via a wireless transmitter. This setup sends real-time tank pressure data directly to your dive computer. You see your remaining PSI or bar on your wrist while you are underwater. Most divers use this gear because it prevents the need to check a submersible pressure gauge manually. I used a Shearwater Perdix 2 with a transmitter in Komodo back in 2022. It showed my pressure dropped from 210 bar to 50 bar during a single long dive. This feature helps you manage your gas consumption better because it provides immediate feedback. Many beginners forget to check the battery in the transmitter before they leave the boat. Always test the connection on the surface so that you do not lose data mid-dive.
